About the Job
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Seasonal Production Runner to support the Back of House Department. This role reports to the Back of House Manager and provides general logistical support, transportation, and errand execution during live events. This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities
- Provide transportation for various personnel throughout show days, including hotel and airport pick-ups and drop-offs using personal or company-provided vehicles.
- Run errands such as retrieving department meals, laundry, grocery shopping, package delivery, equipment rentals, and coffee runs.
- Coordinate large take-out orders with local restaurants, including purchasing, retrieving, and distributing to touring personnel.
- Coordinate large shopping lists from local grocery stores and deliver items to the venue.
- Assist production staff with general production-related duties.
- Maintain cash and receipts for expense reimbursement and reconciliation.
- Provide local area information to touring staff.
- Pick up and drop off company-rented 15-passenger and cargo vans.
- Handle light administrative duties such as making copies, posting signs, and cash reconciliation.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding event, artist, and production details.
- Assist with various special projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and full insurance; safe driving habits are a must.
- Operational cell phone.
- Friendly and personable demeanor; ability to work well with others and independently.
- Punctual, reliable, responsible, professional, and courteous.
- Able to work long show-day hours (typically 10 to 18 hours).
- Strong ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment Requirements
- Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels and busy environments.
- May work in drastic temperature climates.
- Must be willing to work during evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines.
