About the Job
Key Responsibilities
Sponsorship Sales & Revenue Growth
- Own and exceed a $6M+ annual paid sponsorship revenue goal, driving consistent growth across all event and digital channels.
- Build and manage a robust sponsorship pipeline across Festivals, Summits, Retreats, Masterminds, and digital programs (newsletters, podcasts, content series).
- Develop and pitch creative, solutions-driven proposals that align with client objectives and Create & Cultivate’s mission.
- Lead the full sales cycle — prospecting, pitching, negotiating, closing, and contracting.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO to align on quarterly targets, KPIs, and sales priorities.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brand and agency decision-makers, senior marketers, and key stakeholders.
- Manage renewals, upsells, and long-term partnerships to maximize client lifetime value.
- Serve as the primary client contact throughout the sales process, ensuring a seamless transition to the Account Management team post-sale.
- Maintain high standards of client satisfaction through strategic communication and proactive follow-up.
Business Development
- Identify and secure new business opportunities by monitoring market trends and creatively positioning Create & Cultivate’s offerings.
- Pursue high-value partnerships across categories including Tech, Finance, CPG, Retail, Beauty, Sports, and Entertainment.
- Represent Create & Cultivate at industry events and client meetings to expand visibility and generate new leads.
Collaboration & Execution
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Events, Content, and Accounts teams to develop proposals, case studies, and sponsorship materials.
- Ensure sponsorship offerings are aligned with event programming and audience insights.
- Maintain pipeline accuracy, CRM tracking, and weekly reporting to leadership.
- Execute deals efficiently and collaboratively to meet or exceed revenue goals.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE
- 4+ years of paid sponsorship or brand partnership sales experience in events, media, or experiential marketing.
- Proven success closing $3M+ annually, including six- and seven-figure partnerships.
- Established network across Tech, Finance, Retail, Beauty, CPG, Sports, and Entertainment.
- Mastery of CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred), proposal development, and data-driven sales management.
- Deep understanding of event sponsorships, branded content, and experiential activations.

- Willingness to travel (15–20%) for key client meetings and events.
