Corporate Meetings & Events Planner (Temporary)

You Are

UST is searching for a highly organized, self-directed, and collaborative Corporate Meetings & Events Planner to join the Corporate Communications Meetings & Events team.

The Opportunity

  • Partner with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to plan and execute business objectives.
  • Manage detailed project plans, timelines, deliverables, and event production schedules.
  • Coordinate end-to-end event logistics, including venue coordination, catering, audiovisual, production registration, and attendee communications.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, hotels, and service providers.
  • Support executive meetings, including VIP attendee management and onsite event execution.
  • Develop event budget estimates and maintain budget tracking, forecasting, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Partner with facilities, communications, production, and other internal teams to ensure event delivery.

What You Need

  • 5+ years of corporate meetings and events experience.
  • Proven experience planning and executing corporate events with 100+ attendees.
  • Experience with executive functions, customer programs, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong budget management, forecasting, and reporting experience.
  • Experience managing vendors, venues, hotels, and production partners.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize workstreams and drive execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications; Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional collaboration across multiple stakeholder groups.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting virtual and hybrid events.
  • Experience with Cvent or similar event management platforms.
  • Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation.
