About the Job

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Production & Environmental Design

  • Own the creative execution of all sponsor activations and C&C-branded spaces from concept through on-site install.
  • Produce 2D sketches, moodboards, 3D renderings, and visual mockups for booths, lounges, stages, signage, and photo moments.
  • Translate creative direction into floor plans, fabrication specs, print files, and production-ready assets.
  • Participate in early-stage ideation with Partnerships and Accounts teams to develop concepts that support sponsor objectives and brand goals.
  • Proactively pitch new creative ideas, materials, and innovations that push the Create & Cultivate aesthetic forward.
  • Manage creative vendor relationships, including fabrication, signage, décor, printing, and scenic design.
  • Oversee visual quality and consistency of event design across all brand touchpoints and sponsorship activations.

On-Site Event Production & Management

  • Lead on-site creative production for all events—from load-in through strike—including stage setups, sponsor booth installs, directional signage, and environmental - details.
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for creative vendors, ensuring adherence to specs, budgets, and production timelines.
  • Coordinate with sponsors and brand partners to bring activation concepts to life within event guidelines and creative standards.
  • Own and execute the run of show (ROS) as it relates to design and production install/strike windows.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess creative execution, vendor performance, and production outcomes.

Vendor Sourcing & Budget Management

  • Source, negotiate, and manage vendor relationships, including AV, fabrication, furniture, florals, rentals, and scenic design.
  • Oversee vendor contracts, COIs, permitting needs, and delivery timelines.
  • Manage and reconcile budgets for all creative production line items, ensuring cost-efficiency without compromising visual impact.
  • Maintain budget trackers, production schedules, and creative task lists to ensure team alignment and accountability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the Partnerships team to interpret sponsor creative briefs and design high-impact brand experiences.
  • Work closely with the Events and Production teams to ensure seamless integration between creative design and logistics.
  • Partner with Marketing and Content teams to align event branding and ensure cohesive visual storytelling across all platforms.
  • Lead internal creative brainstorms and design reviews to align stakeholders on direction, feedback, and deliverables.
  • Mentor junior producers and freelancers, providing guidance on creative standards and production best practices.

Post-Event Review & Reporting

  • Create post-event creative recaps highlighting design successes, learnings, and documentation for internal reference.
  • Support the Partnerships and Accounts teams with creative content and visuals for sponsor recap reports.
  • Provide recommendations for future activations based on creative performance, audience engagement, and sponsor feedback.

Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of experience in creative event production, experiential design, or hybrid creative/producer roles within the event or brand experience industry.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); bonus for After Effects, Keynote, or Canva.
  • Experience with 3D rendering software such as SketchUp, Rhino, or Blender preferred.
  • Strong understanding of environmental design, fabrication specs, print formatting, and signage production.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, vendors, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Familiar with managing events across the U.S. and supporting site-specific needs (permitting, vendor licensing, freight).
  • Skilled in budget management, quote comparison, and vendor negotiation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills — able to translate creative ideas into actionable plans.
  • Calm, solutions-oriented approach in high-pressure event environments.
  • Strong creative instincts with an eye for detail, quality, and brand alignment.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace, Dropbox, and Excel.
  • Bonus: Background in large-scale (5k+ attendees) event production or experiential agency work.
