About The Department

The Event Development and Production department develops and produces events from concept all the way through execution in a way that fulfills the organization’s mission. The organization produces numerous races and events throughout the year, in addition to additional events within each race. The events team is responsible for physical site management, volunteer management, hospitality and special events, safety & security, and managing the warehouse and all race collateral.

About The Position

This position will work in direct support of the warehouse operations at events, and occasionally as needed within the warehouse operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Meticulous attention to detail in operating in a safe and efficient manner.
• Working knowledge of heavy machinery operations is a plus.
• Assist with equipment packing, load-in and load-out operations for events.

Experience

Job Requirements

• 1 year of aggregated experience in a comparable position or role.
• Familiarity with types of equipment utilized in outdoor event environments.

Education & Certifications

• High School or equivalent level of education preferred.

Skills & Attributes

• Professional communication skills; bilingual Spanish fluency a plus.
• Adaptable to a flexible schedule; must be able to work nights and weekends as needed in support of events.
• Attention to detail and a high degree of organization.
• Ability to work autonomously on tasks assigned without direct supervision.
• Strong reliable team player with the ability to maintain integrity, confidentiality and lead by example across multiple functions.

Other Requirements

• Valid, clean driver’s license; commercial driver’s license preferred but not required.
• Forklift experience preferred along with the ability to acquire certification within 30 days of employment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
