About the Job

Safety is an organizational priority. The Creative team is the department that inspires our audience and over 100,000 team members globally to make safe and healthy choices through stories, humor, and creative solutions. We make safety, wellness, and training come alive through innovative and engaging communications that include infographics, videos, dynamic signage, and storytelling. We are looking for individuals for our intern program who are passionate about communication.

In order to be considered for this position, you must submit an electronic portfolio with your application. The approximate dates of this internship are January 2027 – June 2027.

What You Will Do

  • Design and create marketing materials, logos, and brands for internal and external use.
  • Create and implement communication strategies that engage and educate through print and electronic communications.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to develop innovative content, such as infographics, dynamic signage, fliers, and videos.
  • Maintain and improve existing global vehicles, such as the internal company website and back-of-house communication platforms.
  • Collaborate with other creatives inside and outside of our department.
  • Stay on top of trends and think of ways to create impactful content.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
  • Basic photography knowledge.
  • Proven ability to problem-solve, think critically, and manage multiple projects independently and within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or After Effects.
  • Proficiency in writing.

Education

  • Junior or Senior year preferred.
  • Major or previous coursework in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, or a related major.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the following requirements:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in an internship program.
  • Current Intern Program Participants: May only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization.

Additional Information

  • Fully available for the duration of the internship (approximately 40 hours each week).
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the local area.
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Compliant with company appearance guidelines.
