About the Event We are currently seeking experienced Backstage Managers for a highly anticipated live event hosted by a popular app at a premier museum venue in Los Angeles.

Role Overview We are hiring three (3) Backstage Managers to oversee the live content production across our event stages. You will be assigned to manage one of three distinct environments: a main theater stage, an intimate small room stage, or a small outdoor stage. Please note: the small room and outdoor stages do not feature a traditional, formal backstage area, requiring creative and adaptable spatial management.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-Production Alignment: Participate in 1-2 mandatory alignment meetings the week prior to the event to master the run-of-show, learn the schedule, and familiarize yourself with the talent lineup.
• Talent Management: Prep sensitive VIP talent for their appearances, ensuring they are comfortable, informed, and ready for their cues.
• Stage Operations: Fully own all moves on and off the stage, including coordinating smooth transitions and executing rapid stage resets.
• On-the-Fly Adaptability: Maintain seamless production flow and VIP privacy in non-traditional staging areas (especially for the small room and outdoor stages).

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven track record working in live event production.
• Significant experience managing and interacting with sensitive VIP talent and intimate groups.
• Exceptional organizational skills, a calm demeanor under pressure, and the ability to adapt to non-traditional backstage footprints.

• Location: Los Angeles, CA (Museum Venue)
• Pre-Production Meetings: 1-2 alignment meetings minimum (Week prior to the event)
• Load-In: November 10
• Event Date: November 11
